Police, Crime and Anti Social Behaviour Survey

As your local Member of Parliament, I engage with Hampshire Police and the Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Hampshire regularly and make representations on behalf of residents. This includes providing them with the views of local people about policing, what their priorities should be and how issues like anti-social behaviour (ASB) should be tackled.

The Chief Constable of Hampshire Police and local senior officers based in and around Havant decide how the police operate in the Constituency, and the Police are responsible for day-to-day policing on the ground. They have the police officers, legal powers and other resources to deal with ASB and other crimes, so you should report any of these activities directly to them, by calling 101 (for non-emergencies) or 999 (for emergencies), or via their website: www.hampshire.police.uk

Whilst the Police play a key role in tackling crime and ASB, there are other organisations that can – and do – play a role too. That’s why I have created an Anti-Social Behaviour Taskforce to bring together representatives from the Police, fire service and local councils, plus community, charitable and voluntary organisations that operate. The Taskforce will enable all these organisations to share practical ideas about how to tackle ASB, and better co-ordinate the local response to ASB and other crimes.

I want to ensure that the views of local residents are shared with the Police and the Taskforce, so I would be grateful if you could complete the Local Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour Survey on this page of the website.
