A graduate who found work after attending last year’s Havant Jobs, Apprenticeships and Careers Fair, organised by MP Alan Mak, has been spearheading the work being done by a local firm to develop cutting edge new technology.
Environment Minister Thérèse Coffey visited Hayling Island to see how the Eastern Solent Coastal Partnership (ESCP) are using new technology to protect the Hayling coastline from flooding and environmental damage, after being invited by local MP Alan Mak.
Havant MP Alan Mak has pledged to reduce his use of harmful single-use plastics for Lent, joining a group of more than 40 other Conservative MPs taking up the challenge. The aim is to raise awareness about the difficulties consumers face in going plastic free in everyday life.
